Alright I figured out the visual/appearance issue you guys are having. The template style was defaulting to something we don't normally use. We also didn't have the options enabled to show the other templates. Making some changes on the backend to try to fix it.

An LED driver provides the right voltage and a specific amount of current depending on your LED chips or COBS need. LEDs have varying voltage requirements depending on the manufacturers design They can range from 3 volts to over 100 volts, so if you DIY, you need to have the data sheet for your chips, it gives you information on minimum/maxium voltage and current. Then you can chose a driver.

I don't know the differences or similarities to ballasts but the LED's use drivers I believe.

No, I don't have the privacy as my terrace backs onto the communal garden, and the temps are starting to touch below 15C at night now. And there's only 3 months until the end of the tenancy too, so I don't feel there's enough time left. And we have visitors next month and February too, so it has to be kept stealthy. I have 4 plants, that will have to do until after the end of March.
