Ive been here a few weeks and ive been loving the atmosphere, so im definatly staying throughout the grow season

I came across this site because i was randomly surfing seed sites and came across a strain i really liked until i realized it was auto, i was about to move on when i thought maybe i should do some research, i was especially interested in the fact the they have ruderalis in them and i never knew it was really used, several googles and youtube videos later, Dr. Autoflowers channel made me aware of this site so i jumped in

Despite my past negative thoughts about autos, i really began to be in love with the 2-5 month growing time, which is very ideal for me for a few reasons, 1, most of the woods are invaded by late september with hunters, and 2, im tired of losing harvest due to bud rot late in the season, i dont care what strain you have (maybe im worng :p ), 2 straight weeks of rain in august is gona give you major losses with photo's, and this has happened to me every time in my area.

so here i am :)

so far i have learned alot about autos compared to my last favorite growing forum, and the community is not too big, not too small. Enough people to keep forums going but a small enough amount for everyone to know everyone and have a better connection as a community, not to mention all the great breeders that are active on here ( you know who you are ;) )

so anyways, nice to meet you, you will definatly be seeing me around the outdoor forums, i'll be stating a super stinky/duuurty dragon guerrilla grow thread here very soon, and i hope to meet alot more of you, so far only a few people are familiar with me like Ripster(most help ive ever gotten from anyone on here, really awsome dude) and wiz, but like i said, hope to meet alot more of you on my journey into the world of autoflowers :smokebuds:

Now i conclude with 2 questions which are the main reasons i posted:

1)
Is there any way to change my username? i thought it was cool at first but soon realized its rather generic and want something a little more original in case i make a name for myself in breeding one day
Edit: Got it thanks to Bailer, thanks man
AutoGrower420 is now ◄Joint of View► :)

2)
Is there a setting that will notify you when you are quoted on a forum post? on some other forums they had it, and i feel like i would be much more useful to answer people that quote me that way, instead of having to check every thread i post in

Thanks again, you guys have been awsome

AFN > any other growing forum :buds:

heres a pic of one of my buds from my last guerrilla grow after i lost most of my weight to bud rot

i used med bag seed last year, it grew into some pretty potent stuff with all the work i did :)
it was some pretty bad pot too, but i expected it at $45 for a half an o, but somehow those ugly, brown, uncrystalized buds turned into some premium smoke :)

hey bro why dont you shoot Bailer or TBM a PM, they'll answer your questions for you:thumbs:

ok I'd like to give you a little bit of help... weather you grow autos or photos the mold problem will be the same unless your selecting a strain known for mold resistance... Any plant/strain can be prone to mold when late in flowering.

What I can recommend to you is a better knowledge of strains better suited for your environment. And with that knowledge you can select a strain which when timely plant can mature in your best part of your summer. Example if your at 53N then a 110-120 day auto is not what your looking for, then there are very light sensitive plants which when grown from seed will also finish way earlier than end of sept. A lot of the strain I have breed are very mold resistant, breed and test in a moldy environment. Many will harvest end of aug into sept 7th.

Yes, PM Bailer or TBM and they can change your user name for you.

yea i know, the issue is i always get alot of rain in my area around harvest time, 2 week straight showers, it sucks, so if i have autos that are done by that time, i dont have as big an issue

but yes i have been kinda trying to stick to things known for not getting mold easily, im not sure about the duurty but i just really want to grow this strain ;)

i'll try to get more knowledgeable about better outdoor strains though, thanks for the tip, i am doing a UFO#1 cotton candy photo as well, its supposed to be a slightly early harvets and be mold resistant, i guess i will see

EDIT: i was wondering why this rain im talking about ALWAYS comes at these times, after doing some thinking i assumed that it was because of hurricane season, and after a few sources have said that august/september is the peak of it ( starts in june ) in my location, im pretty sure thats my issue, but i will do my best to do more research for strains good in my area, again, thanks for the advice its appreciated
