Best strains for sub-tropical, humid, mountain grow

Dear AFN friends!

I would like to solicit your suggestions as to the best strains for an outdoor, subtropical, high humidity climate, in the mountains at slight altitude?

My location is (see here for full grow journal, as you can read, I've had a few problems already):

Latitude:
somewhere between 23°0~25°0 North

Geography:
fairly mountainous, at around 500-700m altitude
soil type, not sure, but looks fairly fertile if not a little rocky in places

Climate (for August - October):
heavy rainfall ~300mm / month
average temperature ~20°-27° C (the altitude helps, it's hotter on the flat)
average relative humidity ~75%-90%
probably a few tropical storms coming, too

Light situation (for August - October):
daylight hours ~13.5hrs / day now, down to maybe ~11.5hrs / day by end of October
sunshine hours ~170hrs / month (= ~6hrs / day)

I'm guessing some kind of sativa based strain of tropical or sub-tropical origin.
But know that most strains grown now are hybrids, and all autos are hybrids (AFAIK).
Ultimately, I don't think that the whole sativa / indica / ruderalis distinction is all that relevant, as actual characteristics such as grow cycle length, height, production, leave to calyx ratio, coloration (of leaves or calyxes), resistance to mold, resistance to heat / cold, nutrient requirements, water requirements, etc. are what we really have to deal with.

In particular, I'd like to hear from any growers who have experience in similar regions. In the USA, maybe places like Florida or Hawai'i would be close (?), or growers in Mexico, the Caribbean, Jamaica, Colombia, Brazil, India, Nepal, northern Australia, northern coastal South Africa, and so forth.

Edit: if anyone can provide a copy in PDF of Clarke's old classic, Marijuana Botany, please let me know. That used to be my old growing Bible, back in the day. Would prefer scanned PDF, please, if possible.

I'd really love to learn from your experiences, as I try to get this new location of mine up and running.

Well its going to be a challenge!! That I can tell you! The dreaded mold will be the biggest challenge without a doubt. Here at the 45th, cold is often as much of a battle as humidity, but in the prime of flower we get RH% not far from that(I figured 70-75% average throughout most of flower this year, as I timed for a midsummer harvest)
Dutch Passions Brooklyn Sunrise was the only auto I grew out with no mold at all this season. Worth a shot for sure, and the smoke is incredible.
I know a fella in the UK that will only grow Dinafems auto white widow, and he does well with it. Guys from the UK can also provide good information for ripping high humidity strains. If I wasn't such a stoner, I would be able to tag a bunch of tropical dwellers in for you but...hahahaha

I thought that the high latitude northern growers like the UK, Canada and so on would be able to provide info about mold resistance.
But the temperatures are very different.
And the grow season here should be very long.
Sometimes doesn't drop much below 10C, which in theory could almost mean all year is okay temperature wise, even if the other conditions like sunshine hours are not okay.

Maybe I should search "Florida" + "outdoor(s)" here and see what journals I can find.........

@Maria Sanchez Hi there , I am 15 lat south and coastal , with 2 seasons - wet , and dry . normal year 5 to 6 months no rain , I go with high Sativa content to beat mold problems , there is a number of strains out there to look at , Stitch [ Flash seeds ] has some super autos that are worth a look at . I think if you look for a open structure it will help a lot , which brings us back to high Sativa content , the photo you see here [ not a auto ] was grown in far from ideal conditions , cloudy days and a high number of rainy days . Average humidity 80% .

They look super duper interesting. Pricey though, haha.

U put your altitude or climate into seed finder and see what you find?

Dp's pamir gold and Snowbud are also Higher altitude strains that say in the catalog are mold and mildew resistant. Again I cannot say from experience as they would finish too late for me to try.
