@PlatinumLEDTom , I saw you briefly mentioned the cal/mag issues that a lot of growers seem to have when using LED lights. I've recently been looking at some different articles/ studies regarding nutrient uptake in plants in regards to light spectrum and am wondering if Platinum LED has any similar data specific to their lights?

Thanks!!

Tom,this recommended distance of 18"...with the different models/wattages,will all models provide the 1385 micro moles or the 963 par rating as the p450 or can other models be placed closer for the same efficiency?

Yes, because our panels run very cool you can experiment at closer distances. Just keep an eye on your girls and make sure there are no signs of stress!

Pleasure to meet you Mark. Our p9-xml2 has a core coverage area of 4 ft x 4ft (roughly 1.2x1.2 meters). I would also recommend two p300 or p450s for added flexibility.

Thank you Tom and very nice to chat/meet you :toke:

I'll have a quick Google search for the panels you have suggested

1 more question if I may?

Will your units work in the uk on 220v?

All the best and thank you for the answer :slap:

Mark.

Good question @Eyeoftheworld. We don't have any data on that right now, but I'm thinking about doing some research and putting together a blog post in the near future. One of the biggest problems we've seen with growers using LED's is giving too many nutrients. Your nutrients should have less nitrogen and more potassium and phosphorus during flowering. Don’t give nutrients too often as this can cause your plant to get nutrient burned. You should use about 30% less nutrients with LED flowering grow lights as compared to MH/HPS systems. Do not overwater and do not harvest too early.

Ok, ok, I lied. I'm looking to replace a couple LEDs that inadvertently took a spill. I have a 5x5 tent and I'd like to overpower it. What would you recommend?

Don't have any questions, but nice to see @PlatinumLEDTom around chatting it up again. Loving the P150's. Been working for a while now for me flawlessly. :greenthumb:

Anyone else using 'em how about some Platinum [HASHTAG]#showusyourbush[/HASHTAG] ?

Our light work and are more efficient at 220V. Less amperage.
