Although I am a "Novice" Grower, I have quickly noticed two things with LED lights (both my own & other growers).
1 They necessitate the use of more Cal/Mag
2 They keep plant node spaces short
3 There may well be others
As a result I now run a "mix of lights" or should I say "types of lighting" LED, M.H. HPS, 400v CFL etc
I value your thoughts on the following ramble...
All lights have a place (obviously, as each has different specs). However, do you think we can identify lights as this sort of tool, to the degree of scheduling? i.e. depending on what you want the plants to do... Early Veg Short Nodes" give a Blip (48Hrs) of LED Supplemental lighting week 3....
