A brief history and linage of the Dragons

@hairyman great thread and project my friend. Really enjoyed reading through this so far and look forward to your results.
I think everyone who has been here a while and has a love for autos is intrigued with the alf/jem/dragon line and the history behind it and @Mossys journey with them.
Not many breeders/banks these days being open with their breeding so its nice to see this side of things too

i a lucky boy to have the dragon watching me back,,,:d5:

i going to get this down now before i start to hit it hard or mix it,,first tester from the nicknamed chunky,,a couple of weeks ago i was thinking sugar and spice, but as she matured was this fresh floral something recognizable from the cloth cleaning air freshener aisle,,,first inhale,,yep..fresh,,cool,,hints of floral on exhale ,,nothing heavy very delicate,,after the widow was thinking yea nice but whats its attraction, this one crept up one me ,,was like a wave of relaxation,,nothing heavy,,,just like deep breath of fresh air,, muscle and mind relaxing , spent the next few hours lost in some game ,ille have another,,fook when did i fall asleep :rofl: still cant place the floral,,hints of something lavender but very mild,,see what its like after a cure

2x SD that were marked "Black F2" on receiving many yrs ago haha, :dragon2:

I figure notated that way because the Black line went on much past F2

Ended up with a very decent 2/4 germ rate for 2012 beans, just some very slow poppers haha. So I carefully transplanted the two Blacks over, just to clear floor space. These are regs ofc so, well... hahaha if they end all female that's gonna be one busy pot!!!!! Honest I'll be thrilled with just 1 come out fem <3

Okay they're a little weird looking lol. I had em under 24/0 to sprout, none of the tent liked that at all. And I had noticed sometimes old seed pops out weird and grows out fine.

@hairyman ..the Mazar/JEM is the Sweetie in the Line..also..Incense...probably your sugar and spice...
Aghan IMO is the Lemons..(and Incense)
There is a hard industrial/lemon pledge one...and a light soap type that reminds me of expensive light lemon aftershave..
(Also one that smells like lemon sherbet..that gets stuck in the brIdge of your nose and makes you sneeze..every time..)

Strange to explain..but JEM..then the White Russian...made me feel Normal....:biggrin:..

After Years of being sick and in constant pain....Normal was the Best I could have Wished for.

Sometimes old seed do show anomolies @Anthropolis :pass:..how are they doing now..?

Up and down @JM :pass: ..Friday Saturday I felt almost normal..Sunday woke of with a bleezing headache..sore throat and a wheeze back...starting to get to me now....I've been like this since mid March...:nono:

During a rush of blood..we started the garden...8 months since the flood it was on the back burner...
What a mess.

Hubby on the rotovator..Simon our Help doing the close weeding around the trees..and me on pruning took 3 days to get 1/3rd done... :pass:..sigh......

@JM ...you haven't come across anything to kill the reeds off have you....?

None of the Usual methods seem to touch them...cut off one head and it grows another 10...:nono:

Oh on and off... I'm sorry you are still going through the swings... I've heard it happens to some people that way. I trust you are boosting immunity with plenty of Vit c, manganese, zinc, and selenium? Oh I know your struggle on the garden beds... So many other things going on this year I'm behind.. feeling overwhelmed and I don't have one bed planted yet!

Weeds... mulches work if you have organic matter. If you don't you can use black plastic sheeting.. but it's not the best. High temps cook soil microbes a bit more.. especially in your climate. I tend to lean for organic muclhes (mow grass and let it dry like hay, then apply). Another option is a chicken tractor moving through things, that is weed suppression plus fertilization. But it can be a pain moving it all the time. I really like mowing and mulching best... highest soil gains and easiet management. I have a rider mower though.
