Dutch Passion yum yums in dwc under l.e.d

you have them both looking good Seymour, maybe you can delay your choice a little longer before you decide

I like the girl on the right.

im stuck really i am, the girl you mention has the nicest structure and looks really symetrical but the other 1 is just a crazy ass lady, her side branches have over taken her main cola which is now buried deep so this has me thinking she will have 2 tops as opposed to 1 while at the same time the 1 you mention has a fecking tornado of a root system thats showing the potenial to reach f6 on the scale and she is only 22 days old lol

i also take tonys point into consideration as well it may be better to let them run a little longer before pulling the trigger, i dont think i could be sitting in a better postion :smoke:

I just grew a YumYum that had high side branches and each one ended up as fat as the main cola, can't u get another light and keep both lol

What a nice situation to be in! Which ever one you get rid of be sure to send it my way!

Mine had like 30 tops!!!!!!! Let her go a while bro

didnt you say she was a fussy eater and you had trouble with the ph, how high did you get yours feeding and what was the problem with the ph you had, also did you find out what their preffered ph level was i.e sweet spot

obviously the info you share is greatly appreciated just in incase i hit any bumps with these 2

Yeah, SB she was kinda fussy, she did this thing that was freaky, 1st when it was time to switch over to bloom nutes her pH dropped like a stone, down to 4.1. Then she did it again toward the end of the flowering phase, I think that she had about 3 wks to finish, and this happened a few times, I got some pH up and it got to be stable for a while. I really wish that I knew what was going on there, but her sweet spot was right around 1.2 ec. Yours are looking great SB .

if you keep the plants on veg feed through the stretch period there will come a point where the ph drops and this is the plant telling you she is ready for bloom feed, all she is doing is excreting excess acid through her roots ready for her next growth phase, the same thing happens again when she has formed her flowers the ph will drop this is her telling you im ready to pack on weight so you give her the pk boost

pretty simple when you know the signs to look for as she is pratically telling you what she is doing and when she is gonna do it its your job as the grower to act and tailor her feeds for those specific times in her grow if you want maximum return

if you switch her to bloom nutes to early the ph will drop as she is not ready to accept them so you will have to battle ph swinging its better to let her tell you when shes ready just to save any arguments lmfao

cheers for the info its appreciated
