This is the time of indecision for a first time grower ... do I feed or do I flush ... when do I chop ... etc, etc.
Growing is the easy part.
It's the finishing and harvest that can make or break a grow.

I don't know how I did it, but I realised this afternoon I have taken almost the identical photo of Killer Kush 3, two days apart.
At first, I thought I had made a mistake and double posted the same pic - but there are very subtle differences in angle.
An accidental, absolute fluke.

Presents a fantastic opportunity to compare apples with apples and see if there are any detectable changes over a 48 hour period.

Hat tip to @Hansbricks too ... this is the very photo he threw into the hat for the December BOM/POM Competition.

Cheers bro, you've definitely earned this nom... This was a very ambitious first grow doing so many plants and different strains but you've obviously done your homework to get to this point, as is evident in the level of detail in this thread.

Can't wait to see how this KK#3 looks in a couple more weeks... she's quite the specimen

Sensi Bloom A + B @ 2.0 ml/l
Bud Candy @ 2.0 ml/l
Bud Factor X @ 2.0 ml/l

pH of Feed: ... 6.4
EC of Feed: ... 1.9
Feeding: ... ~ 2.0L

The now scheduled post-lights-off, 'breakfast' feeding for the ladies.
Have decided to keep the lower EC feeding at this stage - base nutes + bud focused beneficials + Sensizym to make the root zone more effective.

Leaves seem to be somewhat deteriorating across the tent - to be expected at this stage.
The aroma is becoming more intense and moving away from the citrus scented candy shop and taking on more of a fuel or chemical kind of smell, but still with definite citrus notes.


At this stage, given the firmness of the buds, and how compact they are, I am PARANOID about bud rot / botritis ... so am obsessed with keeping the humidity below 50% and the temps around 25℃. Main battle is the humidity, which rises as a result of increased watering. When the feeding was every 36 hours or longer, keeping RH% in the 30-40 range was easy, but now with the watering schedule moving to 24 hours to match the plants needs, the RH has slipped into the mid-40s ... and that's with both the extraction fan and dehumidifier on constantly.

Yeah - I noticed the Devil Cream 1 [in particular] has gone through that thirsty, "feed me, Seymour" stage, to now easing up on the feedings, so she's definitely signalled that 'it's time'.

Devil Cream flush begins today; the Cream Mandarine will join them, followed not too far behind by the Cream Caramel 1.

The Killer Kush look like they might have a little more to give, along with maybe Cream Caramels 2 and 3.

Hadn't planned on having a staggered finish, but looking at the trimming nightmare ahead, it might be a blessing!!

The Girls received their finishing off feed today.
Last injection of PK with dose of Radical Nutrients' Compact Buds, and regular amount of Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom base nutes.

That will be their last nutrient infused meal; next, the flush begins.

I might hold Killer Kush 1 for a little more time, just to squeeze everything out of her, but the leaves on the other girls are reaching for, and flying the white flag.

If I'm honest, at this stage I would have thought some of the buds might have been larger ... BUT ... having said that ... they ARE - for the most art - a uniform size across the heavily manipulated canopy, and not what I would call small. So it seems - fingers crossed - I won't be endowed with a porn dick cola ... but will have a field of nice sized, consistent buds - which if I had a choice, I'd probably opt for anyway.

Having said that, the Cream Mandarine does seem to be fairly well endowed ... and I suspect the green pheno Devil Cream 3 would have developed a monster main cola, had I not subjected it to some fairly intensive BDSM and had the main stem growing on a kinky horizontal plane, in contradistinction to its more 'vanilla' vertical vector.

I don't think the total yield on Campus will be setting any records - the ladies are more pretty and cute than they are hefty with a good personality - but if I can get them across the line in one piece, and not fuck up the harvest/drying phase, it should be a respectable first grow ... touch wood ...
