FINALLY the ladies seem to be wearing their little baby tiaras.

I was almost beginning to fear the flowering would never start!

IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE?

and everything was going so well ...

OK folks - what, why, and how?
a) What is this?
b) Why is it happening?
c) How do I correct it?

Nothing has changed; the feed, the pH ... the same as it has been.

The only change is we’ve had 3 days with rain and lower temps, after having no rain for over 2 months.

I don’t think this is a rain/temp issue.
This feels like it is a deficiency issue.

Zinc?
Manganese?

Sweet looking jungle you got there bro, top skills and a fat :greenthumb:on show as always :slap:

Reckon you right on some kind of micro def but buggered if i know what one, looking at the deficiency chart and the fact from the pics it looks to be starting from the bottom of the leaf and spreading up more than the whole leaf fading out i would sway towards iron but can't be 100% sure.

Wasps look to be European Paper Wasps and will slaughter any caterpillars in sight, so if you can avoid getting stung would say they are a big plus but you wouldn't see me getting too close as i hate the fecking things.

Yeah ... I agree - looks like Iron deficiency.
Hmmm - maybe I could just up the feed a little.

Been stung a couple of times.
Not pleasant.
Some days it’s like venturing into enemy territory.
Really early in the morning is the best time - when temps are cooler, and the wasps are dormant.
When we had that heatwave for about a week, it was impossible!! They were super aggressive then, and would literally dive bomb.

HOWEVER ... if, as you say, they keep the caterpillar population to zero, it’s a price I am VERY happy to pay!!

Those caterpillars can wipe out an entire crop quickly and without mercy. They are my nemesis, and if building an alliance with wasps is what it takes, then I’m in!!!
