Problem: Lower leaves yellow and crispy and tips. Next set of leaves starting to yellow.
Medium/grow method: Split medium, BioBizz Light Mix and All Mix
Feed: BioTabs fertilizer tablets and small amounts of molasses and epsom salts.
water source: Well
Strain/age: Sour Crack 29 days; 4 plants in 12 Litre/3 gallon fabric pots.
light used: GN Telos 0006
Climate: 23-26 C, 45% RH
Additional info: Symptoms started showing on largest plant first, then the second largest.

I don't own a pH meter so I can't check soil. Watering the plants has been an unexpected challenge for me. Sometimes I think I'm giving them too much; other times not enough. Sometimes too often; other times not often enough.

Their last watering was 2 days ago, just 200 ml each with about 1/3 teaspoon of molasses and 1/2 tsp of epsom salts per 800 ml.

Thanks in advance for help.

:toke:-- just the tab's in there, and how many? Might be they just aren't releasing fast enough,.... warm it up in there a bit more, this really matters especially with organics!
..looks like some P defc. starting which is pretty common with this system, unless you use some PK booster,... I see some tip clawing, and deep green color, hinting at some N toxicity; are you using Orgatrex? that's high N content,... Inoculants are also key here,...
Molasses can go in at 1tsp/L, but skip the epsoms unless you have need for more Mg and Sulfates....
heft the pots to feel their wieght and judge overall moisture content; recall how they felt when first made up? it's not about how much or how regularly you water, it about keeping good moisture content all the time, with some mild wetter-dryer cycling, nothing extreme.....

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I've been procrastinating like crazy since my last post and haven't managed to address the problem with my plants. They have gotten a lot worse since.

just the tab's in there, and how many?
Two tabs each, 12 L pots. No orgatrex. They had mild nitrogen toxicity from around day 14 and never got better. Two of the plants have hermied on me.

I have just been giving them molasses. I gave them some epsom salts with their last watering cuz they looked like they were deficient in just about everything. I don't have any PK booster yet.

So here they are, looking very unhappy. I was thinking about putting them out of their misery and starting a new grow but I thought I'd check first. Maybe they're worth saving?

Getting worse. It must be a pH issue, right? Next grow I will have pH/moisture meter for sure. Is it possible to have nutrient lockout and N toxicity at the same time?

...those are presex calyxes at the stem bases, see the pistils coming out? Look up male flowers and you'll see,.. long before they open, male flowers are obvious fortunately!
They are all hurting badly for P (especially), K and micronutes; the tab's alone will not cut it, even Biotabs will 'fess up to that... get them bloom feeds ASAP, and you may still get a decent bit off them yet,....

Ok thank you. I ordered Bio PK 5-8 from BioTabs. It's got 2% nitrogen though. Do you think that will be okay or should I give them something with no N?

Nevermind, they're looking like they need some nitrogen now. I hope this stuff arrives soon. Thanks again for all your help.
