Hello everyone. I’m running my first grow, went with Red Strawberry Banana from Sweetseeds. they’re day 40 today. got them in 5 gal smart pots in biobizz allmix. using biocanna nutes line, however sick plant wasn’t fed for 2 weeks, only water. temp are around 22/24C with humidity 55%. light mars hydro ts100 at 90% 18 inches. this strain will go purple but i assume that’s buds not stems. i’ve been feeding 0.25x nutrients strength every third water. some yellows going yellow too, especially in one specific area(lower leaves to the right of main stem). i don’t have ph tester at the moment and was using plain water but far as i know allmix self regulate ph? i will take better photos tomorrow, anyone has any idea what’s wrong? thanks!

If a plant has a particular colour tendency then it can appear anywhere, red stems are pretty common. Plant looks OK I don't think there is a lot wrong, my guess would be a little low on N perhaps, it's aways a little bit of a guessing game.

Its not too bad!
What is your water source? Must know the ppm/ph of your water to know what youre working with.
@Mañ'O'Green is your guy to get this sorted out, not lil old me
i just play around in dirt
gl!

@narnia420 :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:Bump your feed up to 50% and add 1g of Epsom Salt per gallon of water in your mix.

If you are on municipal water you should be able to get a water quality report online PH, hardness and ammonia are the main things we are looking for.

If you expect to grow quality weed you will need to invest in some tools. A good Quality PH pen, EC meter and Accurate 8 soil probe (or the clone). Then you need to maintain these tools with proper storage and regular calibration.

The idea that your bagged soil will maintain PH could be a costly error or not? The main PH regulator in All Mix is Dolomite Lime. If you have been watering with 8+ PH water the pot could be drifting up? Since this is a peat based soil the ideal PH is 6.3.

I am suggesting the Epsom Salt because the plant looks to have a deficiency in magnesium The question remains as to the cause? Because PH is so important this is my first guess. The second is too much of something else? We dont know what is in your water. The third would be the pot is just running out and the low feed level is not supplying it.

Tag me when you have more information.

Thanks for the replies! @Mañ'O'Green i found the informations. My water is labelled hard with 116.8Ca mg/l. The micro and macro thingies PDF file says there’s 0.00829 mgNH4/Litre which supposed to be both ammonia and ammonium ions. I’ll get proper PH pen and the rest tools next weekend and see what i’m dealing with. Also will get epsom salt. About the pots, whatever i pour into the soil, pots sweat with excess water almost immediately and it indeed could have not reach the bottom part of roots but i’m not sure. Thanks for very informative response, i thought i can just kind of run away with no ph testing etc but will definitely take care of it :P

Hello i’m coming back. I have different question this time but it’s not worth creating new topic. One plant has four weird looking bud sites. They are leaning to a side but were perfectly straight up before, one of them seems to be ‘splitting up’ too? maybe it’s just what it is maybe it’s something wrong with them, so worth asking. i read once about foxtailing, does it look like an early sign?
