Im posting this thread bc theres not much talk about it anywhere ive grown autos for some time now and almost always at the end of their life cycle their leafs turn yellow and die off. Early in my grows this worried me making me think it was somthing I did that caused it. But now ive come to the conclusion that this is a normal thing with growing autos. Anyone else have a opinion on this.

Damaged leaves are the same, if I was hanging on the side of a bush in the baking sun with a fan blowing on my butt, with a stoner dude fussing over me, spraying me with God knows what, I would look a little ropey too lol

Sent from my comfy chair.

Autos are on a timer. They will start their end of life fade cycle automsticaly at some point. With photos, that's where the "flush" comes into play, where they manually start the fade process. Its not normsl to have perfectly green leaves at harvest.

And when you search google or any other site 90% of all the info is for photosensitive plants not autos. I think thats why you see alot of nute burn in alot of harvest photos on here. People are trying to correct somthing thats natural. I made this mistake in my first few auto grows. And on another note I think that coco coir is much easier for autos since they dont use much of the nitrogen in soil grows and leads to nitrogen toxicity in flowering. My plants do much better in coco.

I must argue that,You can really f up that internal clock.of their..I did it few times.. I belive that autos are much more complicated than that..

You can definitely throw off their internal clock, I've done it plenty of times too, but that clock is still there and it still has a death date assigned to it. The leaves won't fade if you keep feeding it up until harvest. But that's not what happens in nature. In nature, leaves fade and yellow off at the end of life. That's what I mean by "normal". If it happens in nature, I consider that normal. Not by any means saying that anyone's methods are wrong or right, just saying that end of life leaf fading is normal (natural).

Agreed you can mess up their clock as far as how long their veg and flower cycles are but their death date is almost always on time. Also depends on the type of auto these super autos like ultra lemon are alot more sensative than conventional autos. And another conclusion ive come to is the trichomes rarely amber up like photos do I rarely see alot of amber ones.

My plants are green at harvest with no flush.
The leaves never turn yellow.
Recently had a 17 week auto with zero yellow at harvest.
The only time my stay green at the end is when their in coco coir instead of soil. But the weed has alot harsher taste to it when that happens.
