Yellowing, discolouration and minor spotting

He's doing the right thing.. Plants do not "naturally fade" when you're feeding your plants nutrients. That may happen if/when you stop feeding the plant in the last few weeks. Leaves are very important to bud production.. The buds can't reach their full potential and the end product will suffer when the leaves are all yellow and eaten through. He's definitely right to be concerned, and is right to want to resolve it.
Sure they do. When you stop at 3 grams they sure will. I found 4.25-4.5 gr. MC the limit with the autos I grow in FFOF . At that amount (3gr) you're going to see yellowing. But me personally would rather see yellowing over burning. My leaves might not all look nice and green but as long as my buds are progressing nicely. Another factor is like myself, we like to grow different strains, and like myself diff strains in the same grow. We don't allow ourselves the time it takes to understand the individual strains. At least I don't.
My storage rack has 13 diff strains on it right now. And my next grow will all be diff strains (5-6), except for the Ace Auto Zamal, fuk that's a bad ass auto!
