New Grower Yellow pattern on bottom leaves?

A pH meter is critical in Coco a parts per million meter is important. For one thing your background water is going to have some nutrients in it no matter where you live. It's important to know how much nutrient I'm going to call them salts from now on or in your background water. Because, you're going to add salts and you're going to want to stay below a certain part per million level. Your nutrients are all mineral salts.

On the left side of your schedule you will see the part per million targets. That means with your background part per million and the nutrients you put in you don't want to exceed those maximum levels. I never achieve those maximum levels and I grow coco. I don't however, use that nutrient line. I've never actually heard of it before but it appears to be a good line.

So to answer your original question about those funky looking leaves down on the bottom of your plant. I think you've been a little underfed and those bottom leaves are where mobile nutrients will be stored at for use by the plant. It's good to have the plant using those nutrients in the lower leaves when your later in flower it's not so good when you're at the stage growth.

I believe you need to feed more and get good runoff. I'm a little hesitant to give you that advice without knowing more about your background water and your nutrient levels. But, that's the way it looks to me and I do grow in coco.
OK I have been doing the pH and I just picked up a ppm meter. I will test those levels tonight also I must have typed the nutrients wrong I use this brand. Don't know if it will make much of a difference in your opinion but my local shop recommended it.

So I looked very closely and there are no signs of insects but it did look like some soil was stuck to the bottom of the leaves, maybe I let the nutrient water splash too high because my ppm's were on point at 1100. Also I have many other plants in this same room and only two are showing this discoloration so I'm going to cross my finger and hope watering more carefully unless you might have any more advice given the new measurements.

Did you get the ppm of your background water? And what is your current feed strength?
if background water means the water I'm using prior to adding nutrients is is about 350 ppm and the runoff after the feeding was 1100. My feed level right now 12 ml each is about twice a week I am adding 12 ml each time I feed. Which lines up with the chart.

Hey everyone,

So the yellow coloration is continuing up my leaves. It only is happening in the plants that are starting to flower. My ph is at 5.7 and my ppms have been around 1200, which is right on point. My rh has been from about 35 to 55 percent. They look like it could be from ph fluctuations from what I have read but the nutes I am using say that after you add them as long as they fall between 6 and 3 not to adjust them. Any thoughts? I am using Rx green solutions

I've seen guys with a high background pH, before nutes, pH down their water first. Then their nutrients are able to self buffer from then on.

OK that might be it. My background pH is almost 8

That was the exact problem I was thinking.
I meant it's almost 9 but like I said the nutrient company says it's OK as long as after nutes are added to have a pH between 6 and 3 so idk. First time using nutes.
