I just use 3 gallon smart pots with promix. I really think that was a lucky grow man. Don't think I could duplicate it with 50 seeds. I grew a couple others and got 2 to 3 oz.

What type of PROMIX? is it the BX? Im using the PROMIX regular with 5 gal buckets that ive drilled a million holes in, hoping for better aeration and maybe root prune effect.. i also mix in about 25% worm casting and PERLITE and VERMICULITE

thats a good question Archie.. i do not know.. my local feed store has 2 types PROMIX and PROMIX BX i really dont know the difference thats why i ask..
I usually get hp. The only difference is more perlite in the hp than bx. I also add about 20% extra perlite for a nice light mix. I don't add anything nutrient rich. With Advanced Nutrients, I always seem to get a tad N tox, as is. I feed pretty heavy. Maybe to heavy. I think the holes are definitely gonna help you in the buckets.
I do have plastic 3 gallon pots. And that SC was grown in one, come to think of it.
I think there's a few. Mainly bx and hp is all I see.just an eejit that watches utube,have i seen promix hp aswell?
