This is what I do. As mentioned, they paste then disappear. I did not mention that sometimes I and others can still see them while others can't.
Could it be that when I cut-and-paste from my mail the image is coming in too large for support and this is why it is failing.

Here we go, cut-&-paste from my web based mail account (my amazing Roadrunner#2 that blew me away):

Morning @Moondude !!
Briefly what happens is this. When you cut and paste an image your browser (chrome) and the site create a hyperlink (hyperlink is an address on the web that points to something in this case the image) to the image and put that on the post the image is not transferred and stored here. The problem is the link that gets created points to a place that the site does not have access to. SO if it cannot find the image that the link points to it cannot display it and that is why they are blank!

For example the image you tried to cut and paste in the post above has a link that looks like this
It is a lot of gobblygook that should point to the image, and it probably does, we just cannot go there to see it.

Does that make any sense to you?
I think if you cut and past from most places on the web the image should show up. If you do it from an email or something on your local device it probably won't show.

I have more and can explain a bit better if you need. Also have a workaround for you as well. Grand babies are coming and I need to shower, etc.

I understand 100%. This makes perfect sense. I have an understanding of hyperlinks.....I had no idea cut-and-paste on the web works this way......FREAKING EXCELLENT WORK BROTHER!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.
