Hey DubV! Thanks brother! Great to be back in the swing of things!
Kudo! Always great to have you along!
Hey Boomer! Thanks very much man! Yeah I decided to just go ahead and go hard core! Feels good!
Yo Mr. NiceSmoke! Great to see you too! Yeah I was having a rough time but we all go through it man! Great to be back among my very best friends who share the same passion in growing!
Killa! You know I'm always stoked when you come around bro! We did our very first grows during the same time! That was a great experience! :smokebuds:
I'll be back later with some pics. I need to tier a bunch of em and water some new babies so the "picture show" will be a late viewing this evening! LOL Til then I hope you are all nice and medicated!
Just saw this WVR & I'm really glad you started a new thread. I was having a hard time keeping up with all your exploits! I've got some beans germing myself so I'll be up and running full speed very soon & growing some of the same strains as you. :head:
Quick question for you - I finally picked up a bag of Happy Frog and I'll be using it for this grow. Am I correct in reading that you use straight HF without any perlite or other stuff mixed in? Coming from OF I'm used to lightening up the mix to keep if from compacting too much late in the grow. Is this not a problem with the Frog?
Sending good vibes your way for smooth and productive grow!
Hey Coop, Kudo, JD, Andy and Glaucoma! I appreciate you all being on board for this one and for ALL your well wishes and positive Karma! I will catch up on all your grows very soon I promise!!
Andy to answer your question... I do use Happy Frog straight up and I haven't found any issues doing that other than I use more dirt and it does tend to be heavy indeed. So, in the future if I do get some perilite to add to it I will mix in a bit to save on it and lighten it up physically. If you mean by "compacting later in the grow" by it getting so dense it's hard to water or the water doesn't seep in right away... I have an issue with that hear and there in the beginning but never towards the end. It gets pretty airy toward the end for me.
Well here's some pictures on the current run(s). I have 3 groups I would say. Group 1 will be done here any week. Group 2 have just showed or showed sex about 2 weeks ago. Group 3 are just a week or two old.
Duurty Dragon
Mi5 (this plant is one strange pheno... It's like a mini version of a pot plant LOL I have 3 more Mi5's that came out the same pheno. Only 1 "normal" size Mi5 yet)
SYRUP x SPEEDY GONZALES
SOUR 60 (My Biggest Female)
Group Shots of the other girls and seedlings First set are anywhere from a few weeks to a few days of flowering. Second set are all females that need to be tiered. Third set are those who haven's shown sex yet and some seedlings. The seedlings are RRF's RBB's some Duurty's, some Jems, and some others I can't recall at the moment. LOL So I may be busy but never too busy for the garden! LOL Hell it's what keeps me busy! :smokebuds:
