I'm doing something wrong. I just don't know what. I think maybe the coffee filters I'm using... anyway I'm using Dub's Cold Extraction with everclear. Where you freeze the trim and EC for 24 hours, then pour the EC just enough to cover the leaves... then carefully move it around then strain through filter into a glass dish. After it evaporates it's just a milky substance. So I'm way confused lol but been using practice trim so not wasting the good shit. I'm saving that for when I get this down. I'm obviously missing something lol But what else is new right? LOL

I use Isopropyl alcohol, 99.9%, using the method you described, but it comes out clear, or 'sandy', and when it dries it scrapes off just fine. Nice and golden. Maybe your EC isn't so clear after all...

I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong... Noods what kind of filter do you use? Regular old coffee filter? I'm running to Chinamart here in a few and was gonna try something different... Do they have Wal Marts in Germany? LOL Stupid question probably... Wal mart runs the world!!! :firedevil:

After you add the EC, are you shaking it at all before dumping it into the filter? Also, do you have an additional strainer on top of your coffee filters so that you can quickly lift the trim out of the EC that's sitting in the coffee filter after you dump it out of the jar?

Yep, just normal, cheap coffee filters. And the filter is in a stainless steel sieve that's just a little larger than the filter.

No worries Kindred! Thanks a bunch bro! To answer your questions... after I add the EC I screw the top of the mason jar down to secure the coffee filter. No I don't have an additional strainer on top... the trim had blocked the filter and the EC was draining out REAL slow. I just tumbled it around like a rock tumbler. I didn't shake it up. Should I shake it up instead?

I'm sure you're not asking me but if you are I've never had ISO hash or Bubble hash before. So don't know which I prefer. I've had hash before but don't know what type/how it was made...
