Indoor will it hurt to reduce light 2 weeks before harvest?

i have 2 plants,at 8 weeks--plan to cut in 2 weeks--on 24/0 now---what might happen if i reduce light to 12/12 and place with my photos?these 2 are autos.i really need the space.what would be the bad things---probably nothing good

you would lose some yield thats all though. i have some that are in 12/12 now since i switched for some photos and i pull them out just before lights out whenever im bothered and put them under some cfls just to help a little if youre bothered you could do this.
