Do you just water after 5-7 days or do you make sure the pot is thoroughly wet? After such a long time of being dry the dirt doesn't absorb all that well and you'll have dry spots in your soil. I would say 5-7 days would be right at this stage still but make sure to start watering more often!I give them Expert 15-30-15 at 50%. I water and feed every 5-7 days after they are pretty dry. I water till I see run off. Should I go 100%? Not a lot to choose from down here. Still illegal.

If she doesn't have pistils yet she's still in veg and still has to start the biggest part of her growth so she will still grow quite a bit. So, she might surprise you soon!
You're growing under CFL starting out with or using cfl throughout a grow usually you have to add at least 2 weeks start to finish from a grow under HPS, LED, etc..
"I read somewhere that sometimes they take as long as another 20 days to start flowering, but then how would that be an auto-flower?"
An autoflower is an autoflower because she automatically flowers after 20 days it doesn't matter how long she takes.
Btw and with autoflowers it's not just veg goes into flower but she gradually starts flowering first showing a few pistils and then a few weeks later the pistils burst out of every part of your plant.
Please take a look at this:

Every seed will turn out different as does every strain sometimes they're bigger, take longer, etc.. you just have to learn how to spot where you're at.
"Or should I forget about it and try again later?"
Please don't.
The people who told you you're screwed are idiots (no offence to them) but I don't really see how you would've fucked up.
How do you choose when to water and how much do you water if you do?
EDIT: I do see some pistils on plant #3 tho
I'm serious if I say you're not that far of you can take a look here too, it's a grow timeline from my first grow.

For you first plant they look great. By the next ones you will know what is happening and it will be a lot less stressful. What is green compost? Next time you might want to find a nice organic soil recipe. It can make life a lot sweeter...
Ok doubt if it would it be a problem this early, just keep track that you don't start under-watering!I water till it runs out the bottom. It takes a couple minutes for it to complete.
