New Grower Will An AutoFlower Recover (Also Posted in Hospital)

I wonder if the soil is too alkaline or something? Maybe making the nutrients unavailable to the roots. Have you done the run-off pH test? There's a sticky thread on how to do it.

earth momma nice to meet ya! can you tell us what your feeding them? those autos are to lime green and are very hungry. your feed needs to dialed in badly . at 28 days there about to stretch lets find you a feed schedule and get those plants greener and a little bigger.. dont repot them. you knock the bottom out and stack them on another pot and let the root run down.

tell us what your feeding them?

I give them Expert 15-30-15 at 50%. I water and feed every 5-7 days after they are pretty dry. I water till I see run off. Should I go 100%? Not a lot to choose from down here. Still illegal. Tell me what to do and I will do it. Now that I saw the pistils "illbethere" was talking about, I am excited and I want to do the best I can so I can do better next time!!

Do you just water after 5-7 days or do you make sure the pot is thoroughly wet? After such a long time of being dry the dirt doesn't absorb all that well and you'll have dry spots in your soil. I would say 5-7 days would be right at this stage still but make sure to start watering more often!

I water till it runs out the bottom. It takes a couple minutes for it to complete.

If she doesn't have pistils yet she's still in veg and still has to start the biggest part of her growth so she will still grow quite a bit. So, she might surprise you soon!

You're growing under CFL starting out with or using cfl throughout a grow usually you have to add at least 2 weeks start to finish from a grow under HPS, LED, etc..

"I read somewhere that sometimes they take as long as another 20 days to start flowering, but then how would that be an auto-flower?"

An autoflower is an autoflower because she automatically flowers after 20 days it doesn't matter how long she takes.
Btw and with autoflowers it's not just veg goes into flower but she gradually starts flowering first showing a few pistils and then a few weeks later the pistils burst out of every part of your plant.
Please take a look at this:
https://www.autoflower.org/f44/life-cycle-auto-flowering-cannabis-5113.html
Every seed will turn out different as does every strain sometimes they're bigger, take longer, etc.. you just have to learn how to spot where you're at.

"
Or should I forget about it and try again later?"
Please don't.

The people who told you you're screwed are idiots (no offence to them) but I don't really see how you would've fucked up.

How do you choose when to water and how much do you water if you do?

EDIT: I do see some pistils on plant #3 tho

I'm serious if I say you're not that far of you can take a look here too, it's a grow timeline from my first grow.

You are 100% correct. There are pistils on the Black Sugar Rose. I could actually see them with my eyes when I got home from work, but I can see them really well with the microscope. I can't believe, I got this far. Everyone on this forum is wonderful and super helpful (unlike some other forums where I believe everyone is just full of themselves).

For you first plant they look great. By the next ones you will know what is happening and it will be a lot less stressful. What is green compost? Next time you might want to find a nice organic soil recipe. It can make life a lot sweeter...

Sorry that should have been composted greens and your guess is as good as mine!! LOL. I plan on getting completely different soil for the next grow.

Here we are tonight. Looks like they are getting ready to take off.

Ok doubt if it would it be a problem this early, just keep track that you don't start under-watering!

Goodness, they are kicking in now. 30 days. Even my daughter was like WTF mom??

And just for the hell of it, these are my Bubblelicious girls. They are 57 days and I want to go 12/12. Just waiting on the autos a little longer.

First one was my runt. Not so much anymore. Next is my favorite girl. She's pretty much been good during the entire thing so far. The last one was my sick girl. She went through a few different problems and I didn't think she'd make it so she kinda became my "experimental" plant. She's been topped 4 times. Again, first time with photos as well as autos!!

don't give up on autos. them guys are full of shit. you can get big yields from autos. you ever think about buyin a led earthmomma. you can get a 300w for under $100. would fit nice in your grow space. im gonna sub up to your thread k?
