These are my autos at 26 days:

#1 and #2 are Bomb THC Bomb and #3 is Black Sugar Rose

Here they are today at 28 days (4 weeks):
Plant #1

Plant #2

Plant #3

Ok. Here we go. I know they are small. Especially at 28 days, but they are definitely growing. There's a big difference in just 2 days. I know the soil looks like it sucks. It is organic with compost greens, perlite, peat moss, and sand. No nutes from the beginning. As others have told me, I should repot with more perlite, etc. It was too late to repot as I had started them in a party cup due to what they said on other forums and I didn't want to stress them anymore.

They are in an area about 2x3 with 3-8 week old photos. Directly above them, they each have a 23 watt bulb, but there is a total of 17-23 watt bulbs in there, 18/6. They are in my house so they have A/C plus a small fan in there to keep the stems strong. I water about every 5-7 days until it runs out and today was the day so yes, the soil is wet. I started with nutes, 15-30-15, at 25% strength when the feeder leaves started turning yellow. We are at 50% strength now.

SO, now, here is where I can't seem to find the information I need on the internet or any of the other forums I have visited, and I found this one by accident so here's hoping I can finally get the answers I need!!!

So as I said, I know they are small. They are growing, but technically at 28 days should they not be flowering or showing pre-flowers or something? And since they are not, will they just veg a little longer and continue to grow and then kick into flowering? I read somewhere that sometimes they take as long as another 20 days to start flowering, but then how would that be an auto-flower? They are green as can be and look so healthy!! Or should I forget about it and try again later? All I get is "you'll be lucky to get a gram". "Your soil looks like shit". Etc, etc. That's not the answer I am looking for. I need something serious because I really don't know. I barely know about regular plants, and have gotten quite lucky IMO so far with those, but these are tiny!!! And I know they have an internal clock ticking away!!!

Can anyone help me please!?!?!?

Depends on your goals. I have seen better and seen a whole lot worse. You have adjustments to make with lighting and feeding. That nute mix seems kind of hot even at 50%. Better to learn with struggles so I would say ride it out for three weeks and see what happens. You may or may not get this to flower but you'll learn a lot. Heck, after two weeks throw it into 12/12 and see if that does anything. I've seen it work with a reluctant lady before.

If she doesn't have pistils yet she's still in veg and still has to start the biggest part of her growth so she will still grow quite a bit. So, she might surprise you soon!

You're growing under CFL starting out with or using cfl throughout a grow usually you have to add at least 2 weeks start to finish from a grow under HPS, LED, etc..

"I read somewhere that sometimes they take as long as another 20 days to start flowering, but then how would that be an auto-flower?"

An autoflower is an autoflower because she automatically flowers after 20 days it doesn't matter how long she takes.
Btw and with autoflowers it's not just veg goes into flower but she gradually starts flowering first showing a few pistils and then a few weeks later the pistils burst out of every part of your plant.
Please take a look at this:

Every seed will turn out different as does every strain sometimes they're bigger, take longer, etc.. you just have to learn how to spot where you're at.

"

Please don't.

The people who told you you're screwed are idiots (no offence to them) but I don't really see how you would've fucked up.

How do you choose when to water and how much do you water if you do?

EDIT: I do see some pistils on plant #3 tho

I'm serious if I say you're not that far of you can take a look here too, it's a grow timeline from my first grow.

Thank you so much. My plan was to go 12/12 today for the photos, but decided to put it off, like you said, for 2 weeks hoping the autos would catch up!!

You have made an old hippie very happy. I am new, but I couldn't understand throwing away such green plants that are growing. They grew about 1/2" during the night.

Wish my eyes weren't do bad. I can see new leaves, but not the pistils. I will continue ad I've been doing and wait.

Thank you!!

For you first plant they look great. By the next ones you will know what is happening and it will be a lot less stressful. What is green compost? Next time you might want to find a nice organic soil recipe. It can make life a lot sweeter...

earth momma nice to meet ya! can you tell us what your feeding them? those autos are to lime green and are very hungry. your feed needs to dialed in badly . at 28 days there about to stretch lets find you a feed schedule and get those plants greener and a little bigger.. dont repot them. you knock the bottom out and stack them on another pot and let the root run down.

tell us what your feeding them?

I think I see tine white hairs at the stem of the second picture (in the middle of the picture between the two leaves that are left and right on the photo.) But could very well be my eyes tricking me.

Like Mr Presley said - they arehungry for N, get them on 2ml per litre straight away.

Autoflowers don't always throw pistils at 20-ish days, i've seen it start as late as 35 days.

Rather than lots of tiny CFLs best to get a 300W one with ten inch u-tubes.

I grew these four DP starryders under a 250W CFL that had ten-inch u-tubes :

They were each in only 2L pots and gave me 4oz.

Don't give up on them, i've done 12 grows and have got off to a bad start with number 12 due to using a soil i wasn't fmailiar with, mine were badly underfed, the two at the front (WoS afghan kush ryder) are 28 days and nowhere near as bushy as they should be and the two at the back (DP auto white widows) are, well the one on the left is about 14 days and the poor little sucker chap on the right is ten days and i am thinking of giving up on it entirely since it looks absolutely screwed but we'll see :
