I'm more cheap ass gravity fed type of guy... heard they do good when dialed in right though.

once grew out a kush in a gravity fed bucket,I used some cut of Wilco root mating as the wick,really was a simple grow. Also like you found,the roots embedded in the material but to a lesser extent than the towel your using. Didn’t effect the final product.

thinking now a pack of 4 Blumat carrots is around £8 definitely under a £10.

Since the roots grew out it has turned into a DWC/kratjy grow using solo's so not a competition solo grow but I'm happy none the less.

Growing, some distress, need to do maintenance in the tubs to try and clear it up.

Got the WZ switched out to a new clean tub with HydroGuard and a gallon mixed up to start adding to the others.

Just an update and pics. Seem to be doing ok, hydroguard in every fill up.

Still trying to get the Double Grape to reverse.

The 2 outside branches are the ones I'm spraying and just the top 3 nodes on each.
