lumping these together even though the WW is half way through.

My previous grow was devastated by fungus gnats due to my wife. The plant in the smartpot was spared, I’m sure due to the dry soil. So I’ve decided to use smartpots/airpots only.

My first grow was somewhat of an experiment, just medium and water, later some dr earth bud and bloom. I have the white widow in dr earth soil and a little bud and bloom added to the soil as an amendment. I was also supplementing with dr earth fertilizer tea. I got some biotabs and this grow is now amended with a crushed up biotabs since she’s about to hit some hard flowering. This should help her greatly! I estimate her day to be around day 45-50 and from what I’ve seen these will take 75-80-90 days to finish up so a little ride to go.

The Mephisto Bluetoof Special Pheno is in a 3 gallon equivalent (2.2 actual) airpot. She’s in day 2 of germination and I expect her to pop up any day. That will be her zero day, I remember reading that bluetoof is in the fast and smaller scale. I’ll see if I can stretch her to get some size out of her.

4x2x5 Vivosun grow tent
900w viparspectra led
300w viparspectra led
(I can’t keep the 900 in full spectrum it gets too damn hot in there. I can if I open the tent up but then humidity...)
1 mini fan and 1 clip on fan
No carbon filter yet (trying to keep temps down by not using a filter.)

Temps ranging from 72-80F
Humidity is 45-60%
Light cycle is always on

Any suggestions, please let me know! Pictures incoming I have to adjust so they sit right.

This grow should be much better than the last...no whammies.

@Need4Weed

Fungus gnats suck! Especially how many I had, holy hell.

This grow should be better by leaps and bounds!
That's one advantage for growing with coco, gnats don't seem to like it. I was watching one today that wandered into my grow shower, (I let some apples go bad). It didn't seem to like my plants especially well maybe a little too sticky for him. :crying:I
finally swatted his arse into the fan and that's the last I saw of it. :deadhorse:

looking good,nice skinny fingers.
if high heat is an issue consider running 20/4 - 18/6 off period being the hottest part of the day,may do just enough to bring things within tolerance again.
good luck with the new starts.
:pighug:

Cheers @archie gemmill

Killed me having to kill the other grow but man when you can see those damn larve flipping and jumping and there were thousands and so close to what would be harvest. Ugh. I’m lucky just to have the gnats. I checked her plant....thrips, gnats, some sort of grub looking shit too. It was BAD.
