001.jpgThe left leaf was on the bottom second leaf growing from the main cola.First leaf started two weeks ago so i gave her some calcium and it seemed to stop so i don't think it's a cal def.Top leaf started two days ago after i gave her 1/2 dose of 12/55/6.Some other smaller cola leaves are cupping also. She is 50 days old .3.4gal air pot, ffof soil, runoff 6.2 mollasis once a week and fish fert every three weeks. The only thing I can come up with is nute burn,so I will flush her.Any other ideas welcome, thanks.

that there is just a Mutation, it is called Leaf Splitting. It is a very common mutation. Its found in a lot of skunk varieties. It looks like a leaf growing out of another.

Definetely Ca on that left leaf. Good call I think. When you say cupping you mean the thing they are not wide spread? or leaf cupping aka leaf margin rolling? Along with that burn at the tip and the edges it can be a few things:

1. Over-fertilizing (flush is good)
2. High heat (if the leaf is flat in morning and curled inwards during the day)
3. Too much light (usually coupled with high heat)
4. Overwatering
5. Underwatering

Happy gardening

EDIT: Other than that Iron (Fe) def is what could happen more often, from those symptoms in the picture

Hey namvet. 6.2 is a little low for soil, mate. I recommend bringing that up to 6.5, it seems more like you have a lockout issue than burn. It doesn't look like burn to me and if you've been feeding nutes and molasses for calcium then you should be fine, but not if your ph is too low to intake said calcium. At 6.2 you are locking out calcium and other things, look at this chart.

Thanks for the chart.I flushed all the girls and tommorow I will check the ph

pH 6.2 in soil is quite next to perfect man, I'm sorry to disagree with you in there. The intakes of nutrients don't suddenly end from, in example, 6.3 to 6.2. There's a curve to take into account. I don't like that chart very much.

Ed Rosenthal's chart on pH is updated (2010) according to all the scientific parameters there is:

Acceptable pH range for soil gardens: 5.5–6.5. Optimum pH levels are 6.0-6.3.
