Indoor White Berry Auto - Paradise Seeds

Hey guys.

It's not a weekly update but rather a question.

As you can see in the pics the new growth is showing signs of yellowing. I am not sure what the reason is though. I have misted the seedling with a low strength kelp spray. To be more precise the product is called KELPAK.

Any reason to worry about it ???

Update 26-06 2017
Hey guys. It's update time again. She is 2 weeks young and I'm still happy.

Here is some pics of her. You'll notice that there is some yellowing on the leafs. Not sure as too why. Will keep an eye on that to see what happens forward.

I gave her a light dose of KELPAK as well as a misting. From next week onwards I will start giving higher dose of food. Maybe she's just HUNGRY !!!

Other than that all seems to be OK. Is the growth rate acceptable for 2 weeks ???

Hi Pete:

I have not grown in soil in many years. I have a bad back and cannot move heavy pots around. That is one reason I run hydro; the heavy water is moved by gravity, pumps and plumbing. I have been very successful in hydro even more so than my best living organic soil. One of the advantages is that you know exactly what your nutrient inputs are. a disadvantage is that errors are almost instantaneous.

That said it looks like the soil may be a little "hot" too much nitrogen.

Thanx for popping in man. I hope she can push through though. She started pushing pistils already so I will swop out the MH for the mighty HPS tomorrow morning.

Will post pics on Sunday for update to show how she is doing. Personally I think I fucked up with this one.

PS don't add any guano or other high nitrogen fertilizer. Just water for now. It would be best if you got a nutrient system designed for cannabis and use the system as recommended. The least expensive in the U.S. is Dyna-gro but I don't know the prices where you are?

The growing of organic high grade cannabis requires a lot of knowledge and a constant learning system ,it's always my first day of school in terms of learning ,but practice, practice. ,practice. ,read pays off .Stay thirsty stay motivated and I see you're doing that passion and spending time with the plant it's a living thing and it has many of the same requirements as a human ,learning to read a plant or get to know it is priceless and figuring the strengths of you're environment and using it to your advantage is also very helpful.

Is this an organic only grow? if it is I missed that and Dyna-Gro is out!

I have grown fruits and vegetables organically for 40 years. The living soil in my current vegetable garden has 20 years of careful organic additions, rotations and cover crops with homemade compost added every year. I used to take 5 gallons out to grow an indoor cannabis plant every year and then rotate it back into the garden. No additions other than water were needed to grow some really great cannabis.

IMHO - If you have good prepared living organic soil you do not need any additions for a single grow. If you don't forget about trying to grow organically you simply do not have the time needed for developing good soil. Start that outdoors now for a grow in a couple of years or buy good organic soil if you can find it.

Very nice garden and very good advice .i grow organically but give my plants different levels of nutrients mostly in the soil because I have found that most plants require different things ,this method has worked great but most of my methods are experimental organics I have had some good success usin raw organics an plant infusion organics.
