Which is a better set up?

Hi again,

I've asked this question before but I'm asking again because my available space has changed. Anyways here are my options and if you can think of any others let me know. Thanks.

Set up number 1:
Veg tent:
-2.7 x 2.7 x 6 ft tent
- TS1000 ( 150w ) Mars Hydro LED
- grow 1-2 plants
Flower tent:
-3.3 x 3.3 x 6ft tent
- TSW 2000 ( 300w ) Mars Hydro LED
- flower 1-2 plants

Set up number 2:
2 SCROG tents that are exactly the same

-2x4x6ft grow tent
- TSL 2000 (300 w)

( Then a duplicate tent to grow 4 plants in total, 2 in each tent)

Which set up will harvest more? Which do you think is a better set up?

time/effort in = more yield...in theory scrogs etc are better by far every time.i prefare the plugnplay plant and forget route.no interest in yield as i dont run out.odd way to look at it...but im odd.

If i was planing 2 plants at a time i think the 4x2 makes more sense space wise.
Gives you 2 foot square per plant

Have you done a SCROG before? It's pita imo from weaving to trying to get everything out at harvest. If I was going to run two tents, I'm not masochistic enough, it would be through perpetual harvest rather than SCROG.

It works well but I'd rather grow several autos staggered out and keep a rotation. You could harvest every few months if not a bit more.

Sure you can scrog two tents but if you stagger out 4 plants in each tent you could have 8 different harvest with dealing with a net.

Scrog is great for yield but not my back and I don't like all the extra touching. I'd rather do some LST then just let it go to harvest. With a net I have to weave branches then at harvest I have to undo everything I've done and then do it again with another plant. I'll pass.

Do it however you feel comfortable or want to experiment with. I'm lazy and it doesn't take a scrog to get high yield

Hey bud I agree on perpetual now i have a 2x4 area and a 20in x 40in by 6ft tall and I will say if I wasn't about to move I would be still doing perpetual as I like live resin so you need fresh material and I don't have room for a weed freezer lol so it's nice not having to find a place to stash 2lb or 3lbs @ once. Also scrog can work well but lst works just as well imho and it's easier to water and sometimes you end up with plants that are not compatible I've grown a few that any training wouldn't help as they are almost single cola plants so unless ur running photos I wouldn't waste ur time , also like was said already time put in and love are wat it takes for good yields ect with out the attention they will grow but you will likely be disappointed with results. Ps sorry hit the post button by accident had to come back to edit it, the things I notice after smoking lol.

And the major benefit I can see with the first option is that it'll use less seeds less soil and have to water less but the savings aren't that dramatic imho

Are you growing autos or photos?

If you're doing autos then even one tent would suffice. How much do you smoke?

If you're doing photos then two tents will work better for a perpetual grow with clones and give you time to grow seeds out to clone.
