If you are putting in the tent the new ones are real similar in how they shine but the 301h has a coating over them that keeps them from corroding in the tent where the 301b could short out from the moisture in the air

Ya for sure! That’s the main reason I think they made them! If you don’t wanna break the bank you can always go with cheaper 1 and add to it! Was my plan and why I got what I did to start but also noticed you can buy just the board to swap out with the more expensive down the road! Coulda got the same 1 I did for $80 cheaper but wanted the better Samsung and also Cree so later when stuff changes and I don’t gotta worry about 5-0 showing up at my door with cuffs than tent can expand and extra light added

definitely a good idea, i planned on messing with boards after i got this one and kinda understood them better. haha i feel you on the 5-0 part that's a big part of why i really like qb's makes me feel even more lowkey!

Ya until my tent gets here I started mine in my closet but if u use Meiju they will also send 2 boards but not sure about the extra switch for ir n uv but getting that way you gotta run in series instead of parallel so you could make the wires long enough to put driver on the wall and 1 board in each tent if you have 2 & they’re close together. Without switch and in parallel u gotta keep them close together. Not getting political here but just so u know they r like $40 more with the stupid trade war tariffs so price could go back up or down depending on how it plays out but think October 15th it goes up another 25%

Meiju was going to be my go to for alibaba i've heard good things with them. i know they have the rspec not sure if uv as well, i'll be checking though. good idea on the setup as well. I haven't had to buy from china in awhile so I haven't been affected yet but that's a bitch to deal with

Ya crazy stuff and even crazier that some people don’t have a clue the buyers are the ones who pay that nonsense!! NOT THE SELLERS! 1 of them even has a warning that their prices have gone up from it and will go back down when it’s over! Also spider farmer lights used to be $150 for the single 288 but now it’s up to like $190!
I believe if u want the ir n uv where u can switch on during flowering it will be a 274 board so it can be wired separately! And both Kingbrite and Meiju are both reliable! King rite got back quicker tho!
