I'm not seeing any signs of stretching in his plants, they look just as they should. We've found that about 1" node spacing is best for autos. Autos don't lend themselves well to topping, only delays them while they recover and they don't produce any more. LSTing does work well to control the height but doesn't seem to increase bud production the way it does with photos.
Thanks Muddy, I never believed in toping regardless of the methods people say works. It shocks the plant. It will be intresting to see about the " LSTing" (I have to get used to the new buzz words) as i plan to try a number of different aproaches to this first grow. Deez has a nice production going here and thats why I said that you guys were better prepared to give a good answer on autos. I would expect my plants to be fuller at this stage with big lights so this may help me not be dispointed if my plants develope like this even with the sugestions mentioned (LSTing and distance).
