When should I begin using ewc tea foliar spray for autos?

I think you would be better served by having ewc's mixed into your base soil mix at a rate of 20-30%.
Leave the foliar spraying for if and when you need to control insects. And that is another subject entirely.

I heard its a powerful additive that's why I wanted to try it this year. Also I'm using super soil about 40-50 gallons mixed with 20 lbs of castings in it already and I have another 30 lb bag I was gonna add when its done cooking and yes I have an ass load of bugs I live in the woods and a spring runs right by my grow spot which just adds to the bugs, but if you think id get better results using it when watering I'll do that.

I am just very reluctant to foliar spray anything unless I have to.

If my plants are performing as expected I tend to leave them alone and let them run their course.

Perhaps some others will come along that are familiar with your product.

Wishing you only the best.

I hope this is not taken the wrong way - why do you want to?

I am a firm believer in feeding the SOIL- the soil lives!

If the plant is performing well, no need to spray shit on the leaves.

And your window of opportunity for doing so with an AF is limited.

This is my growing motto Leave It The Fuck Alone-LITFA. It works. Build a living soil and the additives are just not needed.

Just cuz I read that its a great additive to everything else and you can't burn it with worms so why not, plus bugs are annoying

I made this account to answer this and have never grown a auto although I will be starting!

Anyway I completely agree about lifta and feeding the soil. That being said pouring properly AERATED compost tea onto your plants is like pouring oodles of good things on it. Its full of aerobic bacteria... It adds to your micro herd... You can also mix some black strap molasses to it and some sea 90 sea salt (or something similar) and its basically a complete nute solution with a feeding micro herd in it... I have even herd people have used it for feeding too in coco systems... If you include it in your dirt mixes then they will be pre inoculated with good bacteria...

I feed it full strength with no additives for a foliar spray. Usually after the plants have the second or third node showing.....

I would make ACT.... its better.... More aerobic bacteria and less anaerobic bacteria....

As with any foliar spray do it when the lights go off, make sure it gets on the undersides of the leaves, and stop when flowering starts... Full not pre... I sprayed ones with preflowers before fine...

I like neem to...

Foliar feeding is a method of fertilizing through a plant’s leaves. According to Amigo Cantisano, widely regarded as one of California’s most important proponents of organic farming, foliar feeding will give you more vegetables with higher nutrition and better flavor. Also it will increase resistance to insects and diseases and provide more tolerance to stressors like heat and cold.

Lmk what your expierence is with this and auto flowers as I will be doing this too in the coming months:cool:

Properly aerated 'compost tea' are the key words. If a person has a properly made solution and not just some ingredients tossed into a pail of water.
The ratio of ewc and foodstock to water have to be correct and a proper air pump is being utilized then perhaps.
I have done it and no longer do as it will only take one poorly made solution to convince you otherwise.

I use the 'compost tea' as a soil application to charge a new or weak soil with microbes. That reason and only that reason.

Quite honestly the only thing being used in a foliar capacity on my plants is water.

I think a lot of folks are looking for a magic wand to correct their own shortcomings in the soil building department.

I have toyed with the idea of applying a fulvic acid in a foliar manner. It was just a fleeting thought as I am not fixing what ain't broke.

Neem is a good foliar spray if you think you will ever have a pest problem...

Yea air stones are good too... I use boogie brew so no mixing wrong.... What happens if you make it wrong?
