I wondered what everyone else called day 1 myself. Personally been writing down planted and germinated. But day 1 is when she pops her head up.

Is there unspoken rule on when exactly we call a plant 1 day old? I just started a new FastBuds grow and was wondering when you guys call it day 1. I've called day 1 the first day they get their first set of true leaves. Is it when they crack open? Break the surface of your medium?

I was pretty confused about this myself! Thanks for asking!! It's nice to see everybody's answers. I eventually decided that day 1 for me was when I could see green. Mine popped her head up fully encased. I call it day 0. :smoking:

For feeding purposes I have always called the day she peaks out of the dirt as day one

I call day one the day it is through the soil with the shell off of it. I know what you're saying. Some people's day one looks like my 2 weeks because they count day one at a different stage.

Good question I think everybody does it different I germinate right in the soil no transplant no soaking seeds nothing as soon as I put the seed in the soil to me that's day 1
