When brewing tea

Ever made a cup of tea with out a tea bag, same thing going on here. You can do it ,no rules to say you have to use a bag or not just you got to clean that mess up.
Also if you just water the compost particles into the pot they will stay on top of the meduim a form a hard crust which can become slightly hydrophobic. As you bubble the compost it breaks down to much finer particles.
I compost tea weekly, my thoughts are that the bag is a bit of a god send.
I just brewed nettle tea (3 weeks) and I must say it was by far the most disguising thing i ever smelled in my life
