We may just need to accept that no single seed bank has everything. Also our (AFN members') tastes are not mainstream, so maybe we should not expect mass market seed banks to carry what we want.

Tried them too! Sounds ridiculous doesn't it?

And it isn't just them being out of stock. Its partly wanting three packs or even 5 packs, and only having 7 packs or 10 packs of some strains, or not having any, or not having anything from a particular breeder, etc etc. Its crazy! My budget does not allow for 1 penny over a set amount, so I can't buying 10 packs of stuff I only can afford three of. Its like going to the supermarket and finding half the shelves empty and the flour you want in a 5 pound bag is only available are only in 50 pound bags.......

What's up with seedbanks?

I've spent a day, trying to place an order for seeds. I want 4 strains in particular. AND........ I can't get all of them from any one seedbank! WTF? I've tried 6 major seedbanks ( the ones you can trust.. ) and NONE of them can fulfill my order!
And I see a disturbing new trend I think is designed to drive up profits. I'm finding that many of the most popular strains are only being offered in the large packs, like 7-10, no 3 or 5 packs. Yes, when you see this it is often an issue of them being out of stock in the smaller pack. But take Attitude for example. MANY MANY pages
( and I slogged thru MANY MANY.... ) of which more than 50% of the seeds offered were 10 packs only! I feel like the government is running the seedbanks " you can have anything you want, as long as its what we tell you you can have"........

I'll be damned if I'm going to order from more than one place at once. So I guess I get 1/2 of what I want and like it....
