I've got a one day old glueberry auto that just sprouted with these white hairs on it and dont know what it is. It's in a peat moss seed starter using RO water and no nutrients
Do you want me to delete all of these duplicate posts? You only need to post once, in one thread, to get answers. I think this is the 3rd post with this same picture and same question.
Good picture! Lateral root hairs. A shame they are being wasted. Seeds need to be planted ~1/2 inch deep to prevent "helmet hat" and this. Sometimes stuff just happens no matter how careful you are. By the way those lateral root hairs grow right into a paper towel when that method of germination is used. Then they are stripped right off when the towel is removed.
Your plant will grow more roots below the waterline it just takes more time.
