I run 20/4 for veg then drop to 18/6 for flowering

Does it effect yield?
I can't see how.if you can run 24/0 you will get a better yield than if ran less than that, that is what I have seen in my experience and through my reasearch
I can't see how.
Plants do all there magic when lights are off why do plants let of carbon on night time I'm no expert but I can't see how having no rest time can help

May have to test this out thanks for info dudeIt is simply a nature thing, where virtually all the ruderalis genes we get the autoflowering trait from grow at the northern most lattitudes, where they basically get 2-3 months of 24 hours of contiuous light because it never gets totally dark in the summer. All plants want to do is photosynthesize and grow, especially cannabis ruderalis. They want to grow and grow a lot fast. Since the flowering hormone is not photoperiod restrictive in ruderalis it can do all its sexing under 24 hours of light. Autoflowering cannabis just wants to grow and in order for the cells to multiply they have to have photons from light, so Autos basically do their "magic" which is grow and sex under all lighting conditions. One of the things I intended to get done next spring, actually get some real baseline data on a lot of the misunderstandings about cannabis ruderalis. I have my formal education in botany with a focus on cannabis, 24 hours of light will give you bigger plants thus more bud assuming all the other growth variables are in order. Cheers friend and happy growing.

I call it forward motion my man @derek420colorado that is what all autos need. As you know they require no rest and as general rule I see plants done faster over all so if growing faster that will compensate for the extra electricity. Since September 2014 I have grown 24/7 I honestly do not remember losing one plant to anything. I am not bragging either I am just stating facts.
