I have a 8x8 room with a 4x7 flower tent the rest oh the room has a portable ac a small area for mothers under a led.and a couple 115w cfls and the room has a small 2x2 closet the tent has 1600w of hps and has co2 pumped in at 1500ppm. i use the closet for my clones it has just some floresents and a 115w cfl if needed. So thats were im at now.
So my question is what is more effecent for my room? I was thinkin that versus taken out the tent and the hps and goin all led and autoflowers oh im growing in coco btw dont know if that makes a differents just figured id put as much info as i cam here cause im really debatein on what would pull the most weight in my room i dont mind.pullin a few extra watts if i have to as long as my setup doesnt make my lightbill fluctuate month to month.
so thats the question the 1600 watts of photo flower room vs the whole room with autos and led. Right now im doin autos in the tent but its usually set up for a continuios photo flowering. I have to keep my plant count under 25 also i would prefer to be under 20 but as long as im under 25 ill feel somewhat comfortable due to our.fucked laws. If the led way will be better i just may switch soon cause im gettin tired of all the work my.room requires but if i go with all led i still kinda want to keep maybe the 600 or 1000 watter so i can still do a couple photos in there but maybe just get a smaller tent for the one hps. Also can anyone tell me what they have experianced.in the bud weight and quality with led versus useing a hps. All comment and help will be greatly appreciated. Keep im mind i have to keep the room stealthy and i think thats one of the problems useing hps plus useing that tent is starting to become a pain in my ass. Usein the tent and hps also only gives me a max grow hight of about 3.5 feet cause i got the pots on eb and flow trays about 1.5 feet off the ground with a res underneeth to catch my runoff. So basicall my room has become a huge pain in the ass to work in. My other thought is to do away with the flower tent and get a tent for the vegging plants. That would make it easier to maitnence my flowering plants. Also i am lookin fo a low work load hydro way to grow. I really like.growing in coco so i want to keep doin some that way but i was interested in trien a knew way of hydro maybe undercurrent i dont know yet but im curios about trien other method just not eb n flo. Sorry so long wit so many questions i just got my mind goin a 100 to nuthin thinkin bout this cause im close to the end of this grow and have ti redo a couple things in my room after these plants r done and i just dont know what way to go with it.
