Merry Christmas!! I guess the short answer is because it's here.

what ive noticed when crossing autos and photos (either or being the mom or dad and done both ways many different times) is that the f1 generation is still photo , like completely , but flowers quicker , ONLY because they dont need complete darkness so begin to flower as days are still long because dusk or dawn or whater it is late day/early night is long and is dark enough while still seeming to be light to us and to normal full photo plants

i feel like im rambling lol , my point is , (outdoors) they seem to flower and finish 2-3 weeks earlier then expected , indoors the thing i notice is a photo crossed to an auto or vice versa remains a lot like the photo with airier buds , as for further f generations/crosses of the siblings i find the auto trait starts showing up (something to keep an eye open for)

peace

The auto flowering trait is recessive. You will have to inbreed your crosses offspring to f4 to stabilize the auto trait.

It is a good amount of work, I would just stick to crossing autos their offspring autos 99% of the time at f1

IMO that is a wrong answer... It is quite possiple that there is more than one autoflowering genetic line(strain) such as LR, rudy, mighty Mite... But for sure one of the aforementioned genetic carriers has a dominant auto gene.

That's kind of what I was guessing but I wasn't sure. I have only been growing auto-s for a little over a year, Not a big deal if I have to go several generations into this to get what I want. I imagine the end result will just be a pineapple express of sorts but that was a different strain of auto for a base breed. I will have to make up some colloidal silver on generation 3 and pass out some fems around here. Would prefer to send them to one person who already knows everybody's addresses of people who like to test... Maybe in 7 months im guessing.
