New Grower what to do with trim and sugar leaves

I cook it in pop corn oil and make "Pot corn" with it. Only have don't this a few times so far as it was a recent idea I had. I have not perfected the process yet. I usually heat the oil in a pot with the weed for about 10 min on medium heat, strain out the weed and make pop corn like normal with it. Every time I have made it though my wife is already stoned and can not tell me if it got her high or not. My wife dose not respond well to eating it though. Even if it did work good she never gets medicated from eating it.
I shake my leaves on a sieve/mesh over a plate or glass surface to shake off all the crystals. I then collect the crystals up using a card and roll them up it to some nice squidgy hash.
The finer the mesh the more pure the hash your gonna get.
I personally just use a flour sieve on the bottom of a jar.
It works like magic.
Btw works best when the trim is frozen

Make shatter with it. I found you don't need a vacuum pump. This stuff turned out brittle and tasty. I now think the vacuum is what burns off the terpene's not the heat. I can hold this in my hand for quiet a while with out it sticking to my hands. If there is any butane in it, it is a lot less than you would inhale lighting a pipe. This stuff is a few days old now and no bubbles as of yet. I did not weigh what went in the tube but I think it was about 1 ounce and pulled 3 grams per pull from my trim using 1 can of butane. Here is a pic of 1+ gram of what I made

how long can you keep it in the freezer..?
I honestly don't have a clue - I would assume quite a while. Since there isn't any light in the freezer there shouldn't be any degradation in THC, and all the trichomes will remain intact... I would think it would be viable for "long enough".
That being said, I want to reiterate that I really don't know and someone with more knowledge on the subject might chime in and make me look retarded (I would be ok with that of course, because I would learn something new).
