I was thinking of hangiing it at the top of the tent and just let it go from there.

Hello no its not really a option for both lights. Again this just a hobby. Not too worried about yield yet.

As close as possible without burning the plants lol I would start out at 12 to 14" or so for seedlings then lower it as they get bigger

I am growing a mephisto ripleys og.
The plant in the waterfarm was looking terrible.
So now its just a single plant in 2 gallon coco.
