Hey All,
Trying not to all of a sudden go into a germinating slump my last 2 attempt's were strikes,
with that being said my first 8 germinating attempts were a success 5 for 5 from crop kings / 3 for 3 from seed fair.
The last 2 strikes were from the same batch from Seed fair I had Success with only difference both seeds sank instantly or,
I'm thinking the lighting and temp difference in the room was the factor. I'm using the paper towel method & try to stay @ " 80 % " or above :smoking:

Blue Dream matic seed from 420 fast buds I just placed in a shot glass.

So what is your Germination rate ?
:pass:

I've had really good luck with a combo of ~24hr soak and then into jiffy pellets in a box and on the router the whole time.

First few posts in my last thread show what I end up doing. I offset the germination box so the seeds aren't getting baked alive. There was some good points from the breeder that the heat may not be the best practice. However, if you're having issues sometimes changing up the routine helps?

These ones definitely split very very early in the shotglass, several I have done had not germed before I put them in the peat pellets. I give them 20-24 hours soak and that's it.

I have been at 100% for over a year. That does not mean that all plants are 100%, there have been some that were not strong growers in the long run that should have been culled b4 flower.

Oh shoot maybe I misunderstood the question...

1/1 Dutch Passion
1/1 Fast Buds
4/4 Twenty20
1/1 Brother Mendels

EDIT: Sootdawg had a neat trick for getting the tails to pop in a nice vertical direction. Let me see if I can't find the link.

I just remembered the one time I saw it and had to search for it. Thought it was a neat technique and more people should see it. So simple and straightforward. That's pro level work when you see something and realize - ah! Why didn't I think of that!

I don't usually have problems getting seeds to sprout by just keeping them warm and wet in any way. But I do feel like when I get one that doesn't split, there are usually more in that pack that don't grow or are weird
