Once she throws pollen, if you let her keep growing, but quit spraying, will she start going back to female? Or will she stay completely male until death?

Good question Treeman..after I pollenated my Mother plant for 3 days and then collected, dried and stored pollen I disposed of the reversed plant. You don't want to ingest any part of the reversed plant even if it did start budding up ...:smoke:

I guess Im going to try it. Having no luck reversing a single branch on 2 plants so far. What ppm CS did you use? Im currently using 20ppm that I made myself.

20ppm cs that is properly made, should be fine.

Also, the plant should start growing calyxes and pistils again after the ethylene production returns to normal.

Hey Treeman I don' have a TDS pen so I used a laser pointer after running my C.S. gen after 12 hrs here is some pics of what I ended up with. C,S 010.jpgC,S 004.jpgC.S 001.jpgC.S 004.jpg I hope this info helps...:smoke:

It starts to go back to female again. The male flowers remain but any new pistils that it throws out will be female. The larger it gets the more difficult it is to get her to stay male since she starts throwing out more and more. Just what I have experienced anyways.

That may be the problem Im having with this TD, the bud Im trying to reverse is phat! Ive started just dunking the whole end of the branch in a 1quart jar filled with CS but it barely fits. I should have done one of the small branches instead of one of the main ones maybe, and starting with 10ppm CS was a bad idea also. Im using a low voltage power supply to make my cs, its 5v at 700mA. Takes a couple days for it to get to 20ppm but its a nice yellow color and looks good in low light using a flashlight through it, like you would do with a laser pointer. I also strain the CS using a coffee filter to get out any floating junk, or sediment at the bottom. Ive noticed that CS is hell on spray bottles, Ive gone through 3 already, the spring parts start sticking and it makes them about worthless.

Do you clean the silver electrodes during the process, because your cs shouldn't have much if any sediment at the bottom? After the first time they begin to discolor and then get some "growth" around one, they will keep doing it more and more frequently as the ppm rises. You should clean them at least every 3 or so hours when you are awake, depending on your power supply and other generator specs. It shouldn't gunk up your sprayer springs tho. Plastic sprayers might get discolored tho, and lower quality of the cs over time, by having some static and attracting some of the silver. Still shouldn't be a problem tho if the cs had small particles and nothing visible floating or settling in it.

Also, you should definitely start applying at preflower (autos) or a week before flowering (photos), and not when the plant has a fat bud. You need to cause the NEW growth to be pollen sacs, not turn the already grown buds into them.

I started at preflower, but it wasnt a strong enough solution I think, by the time i switched to 20ppm, it was well into flowering mode. I clean the silver strips morning and night. Ive got a batch going now. Here is a pic. I use distilled water that registers 0ppm on my meter.

Here is a pic of my TD that Ive been spraying for a month now. Its got a few (maybe 4 or 5 on whole branch) what look like male balls forming, but none have opened.

Here is hbss that ive been spraying for probably 3 weeks, no male parts at all, but its dried all the pistils out.

Im wondering of the close proximity of the rest of the TD plant, what is flowering heavily, would be enough to interfer with these branches turning. I dont know what the issue is but its frustrating...
