good stuff, yeh people grow in pc cases but id say its only worth it for people who need to be especially stealthy and havent as much choice. much more effort and risk of problems with heat and burning etc.
have a look in the cfl and micro section for ideas.

keep in mind you could start in that box till you need more room, you would be fine for a few weeks just have something planned before you need it. a smaller box will bring up your lumen per foot squared ratio so that could work well if you dont have much light to start with, do some calculations with that lengthxwidth divided by your total lumens and see how close you get to that 3000 veg and 5000 flower per square foot. this should help you figure out what will be enough light and also if you have too much space etc. the bigger the area the more light youll need this is why growing with no cabinet/no closed off area is a bad idea, you lose most light instead of it being bounced off walls etc, paint the insides flat white(matt) or mylar coat it but thats expensive and too much hassle. this helps you reflect most light so you can get the most out of your bulbs. it will make a big difference.

and dont forget ventilation, light and ventilation should be top of the list. good luck:thumbs:

Thanks alot bro ihave the inside covered with this reflective material I'll post pics when ican im not able to now im gonna start it in this box then move it to a bigger one as far as light and ventilation ithink im good there igot a fan built in on the side and exits through the top since hot air rises:wiz: real good info thanks again you guys are helping me alot AFN!

cool good stuff, not to constantly type walls of orders at you but theres another boring but useful formula for working out how much ventilation you need i cant remember it though id say its in a sticky cfm air changes per minute google that it not, also it might be better to have the fan on the top pulling air out so that the side is pulling cooler air in as a passive intake(just the vacuum from air leaving pulling air in) it would probably help a degree or two depending on fan and climate etc.

not as important with seedlings but still good to know. just keep the temps and lights low from the start to nip stretch in the bud and youll be good
ill leave you alone now:D

Lol:crying: keep the info coming ihad the other fan on top but ithought it was too much looks like its going nj on top good shit bro my grow gonna be good thx to you if igot any problems I'll let you knw asap:smokebuds:

will try to:D
oh ok, i just couldnt imagine it with no picture. ill answer anything i can anyway, dont know all to much started myself last september but im on here way too much so i have that.

id say get some pics or a grow log up soon as you can just any problems will be caught by someone before they're bad instead of when theyre bad enough to take a pic. and thats all i can think of. good soil ph'd before you start!!! im still dealing with problems 7 weeks into my grow from not doing that:help:
check out the soil section if you havent planned yet.
good luck

That's just nature, mate. And yes, post some pics tomorrow of the new grow box and we can help you out and make sure you're good to grow. bgrt is right about stretching, but don't have your lights too close on seedling you will roast them and/or bleach them. You know enough to get started and on your way with the box. I am interested in checking out some pics of what you have going on to see if we can help at all. :D

@squid iknw they just so purrdy:crying: ithink I'll germ a silvery one ima save the tiger/leopard print looking ones for later grows! the grow box that I'll post pics up of I'll use for the first few weeks then transfer to the bigger one when height the issue wish me GREEN LUCK:peace:
