Long pipe cleaners work the best. Just hook 1 around the stem mid plant or so and then hook another right around the growing tip of your plant and give it a little tug to the other side. So you're pulling in opposing directions but mainly grabbing and pulling your growing tip over.

It's a bit harder to do in a fabric pot but if you put a few holes into your pots I use bamboo poles, you can tie off to those. I've even used long matchsticks to tie off to temporarily.

I would use safety pins around the edge of your bags then tie down to those so you are not cutting up those bags. It's a matter of pulling down your main bud branches so it spreads the bush out and let's the light in. If you bend over the main stem then the side branches become dominant. There are some good examples here if you do a search and on YouTube.

well this is a nightmare, because the soil is so shallow im getting no real pull down think i may need to make this stretch alot to be able to give it any kind of LST.
what i have done today is the damaged leaves at bottom removed. they were basically wilted and dead anyway. done best i can with the lst.

Iv gave it a bash, got the fan leaves kinda out the way some tucked. see how it does / responds.
