We at day 43 and the tent is getting way full. Cream Cheese is doing well and man is this Blue Dog stacking. Then the CBD Haze in the back becoming full and the Double Bubble Trouble is turning into a fat beach ball.
Day 42 for my miniature WTF. If I'd counted day 1 when she started to grow instead of when she sprouted, she'd be 4 weeks old instead of 6 weeks. Last week I topped her. Now the branches are starting to bust through the canopy, but not long enough to spread yet. I added a 2nd 100w LED board (an HLG and a Yuson). I've been turning her every day to make sure all the branches get equal light. I upped the feed to 650ppm (MC 1-part), twice a day. I thought I saw a couple of white spots yesterday... Just in case the thrips are back, last night at lights out I sprayed with Monterey Garden Insect Spray (a spinosad product, 7ml in 16 oz water). I sprayed the leaves top and bottom, the soil, the walls, the shelf, the drainage gutter. Break a leg, y'all!
Week 7 is upon us. Both plants are doing well. Not issues so far. I gave a first feeding the other day. They have both picked up the amount they are drinking. Up to a gal and a half every 2-3 days.
Comp Plant - Double Bubble Blueberry Trouble
Starting to really kick out the flowers. I plucked a couple leaves but I'm mostly just tucking and letting her do her thing.
Girl on the side - Blueberry Cheezecake
Still not totally in flower but not really stretching so staying short. Nodes are stacking like crazy. I had to so a bunch of defol to open up as many bud sites that I could.
Howdy Y’all @Jean-O
Week 6 Day #46 if my math is correct.
My Blueberry Cheezecake seems to be doing very well. Starting to fill in nicely and appears to be recovering nicely from the haircut.
Here’s a couple photos
Here’s what my last one ended up looking like
I think this one’s going to have more branches, is already taller and hopefully fill out as nicely.
Here’s a couple of the others on the tent. Take a look at RBF & WTF. Growing very nicely now and fully recovered from the haircut also.
I still think there’s something wrong with the bucket the HHX is in and will not use it again. It’s always heavy like it’s not wicking the water and food up from the bottom. It’s the only variable in the setup and has to be an issue with the way it sits in this bucket.
Hope everyone is doing well and will catch y’all next week
Root Beer Float day 49, some nice stretch put in this week and she saw some adverse conditions(54f) I had my basement spray foam insulated and of course you can’t move a plant who is rooted to the actual ground, part of that is opening the windows in northern maine in the dead of winter to air it out. So she had toxic voc’s and cold air. The tent was plastic wrapped and taped shutcontroller was alerting me of 95% humidity the whole time which she took like a champ. The spray foamers loved the setup and did great working around it
I think she picked up some purple from the conditions, and she’s definitely building frost even on the lowers
End week 7. Straw Dog day 49. Rocking along, buds thickening up. I defoliated almost daily, looking down the
center and pinching blockers. I have 4 in 7 gal bags this grow and they are all taking their sweet time, I think she'll
take at least 13 weeks. @Jean-O Hope they get y'all fixed up quick. I hate ice storms, tears my damn trees up.
@Jean-O wasnt kidding about this cultivar being a heavy feeder! Took less than a week to blast through the last topdress, so I repeated the same as last week.
Keeps packing on size as she transitions slowly to Flower
Jean-O's Cream Cheese and Double Bubble Blueberry Trouble Day 50
Girls are all looking alright think my feed has been all wrong but have made some slight changes and girls are getting better... I've been buffering my RO water with gypsum and epsom salt then mixing the rest of the nutes up after letting it bubble over night ph has been steady and girls have perked up along with turning up the light right now running 100% running 700ppfd at the canopy.. temps and RH have been good running 50-55% 75-80f Shouldn't be a huge yield but still looking like a nice average harvest
Cream Cheese Jean-O's Battle plant she is looking the best luckily
Week 7 plants day 49. All kicking into high gear wall to wall filled can’t even see the tent floor. Cream Cheese filling in with bud, Blue Dog is becoming a beast, CBD Haze showing lots of flower and Double Bubble Trouble is trying to take over. I wish I had a bigger tent or a spare to setup so I could push the limits to let them grow out more.
