Week 9
Root beer Float day 63. Smells like melon, left my hands sticky icky after light defoliation. There’s a flower in my flower
My personal opinion is that it is a good thing to start to see fade and a bit of cannibalisms towards mid to late flower. I generally start to see fade around week 4 to 5 in flower and by the end I have plants that are literally eating themselves from the inside. I still use a lot of older bro science also though if you were to listen to Dr. Bruce Bugbee (spelling?) he would probably totally disagree with this train of thought but he's only looking at it from a healthy plant aspect not what is going on with the THC and he is definitely not considering smoking the flower. I have had plants finish out fully dark green and the smoke is still good but the smoke is generally harsher and less potent and it burns less evenly causing joints to go out or burn with black ash. That said I don't flush my plants but I don't over feed either which would be the only reason anyone would or should need to flush but then again I don't feed my plants for the last 2 weeks of flower either. You will more than likely see plenty of information that shows benefits from each side of this debate as to how someone should finish out their final product with this plant I just stick with what I know to be true for me and my personal opinion that I have reached after 25 years of growing cannabis. Thanks, Rick!
I'm starting to think they all just start to flush of color at mid flower and start to drop leaves? Is this common or am I having ph / nute issues?
Definitely an odd ball phenotype as most pheno's start flowering around day 30 at the latest. Hopefully she makes up for her tardiness by throwing down come harvest for you.Root beer float 60 days. Finally getting some signs of flower

Most pheno's have shown sex roughly between day 20 to day 30 I have heard of a few going just over 30 days before showing pre flower but nothing this long before. This is definitely an odd ball phenotype. Could have possibly even been a semi auto phenotype possibly which can randomly show up at any point in a breeding project. These are out of the S2's which are pretty much the same as a F3 which is fairly well into the breeding project. I had gotten the original beans from Tony Greenhand as auto beans about 3 years ago as testers so Im not sure at what stage they were into his breeding program when I gotten the original beans.Damn! Is there a 'late bloomer' pheno? Does the stem purpling occur on the other RBF girls? I can't recall.
Excellent come back! It looks like it should repay you for your patience.WTF #3 was 56 days (8 weeks) old on Wednesday (couldn't post while the site was down). During the last week she started flowering hard. I forgot that WTF puts out a ton of side branches, it's hard to tell which are the main colas and which are side branches.

Have you had any of the flower from The Legend yet? She throws down with the yields and the flower is some of the craziest terps I have ever had, one of my favorites from my photo collection. The flowers usually get a nice velvety purple color to them late flower.Legend is clicking along. Starting to bulk up some.

Good useful info! RBF will be under my new HLG 200 Rspec in a Jr Earthbox. I'll see if I can train her to efficiently fill up that little 2.3x2.3 tent. Most pheno's have shown sex roughly between day 20 to day 30 I have heard of a few going just over 30 days before showing pre flower but nothing this long before. Yes most of the phenotypes will show dark purple stems once flowering has induced and some phenotypes will put out dark purple leaves and purple flowers without introducing cold late in flower.
She's in the run after this one. How long in flower after flip? I think I remember a pretty good stretch.Have you had any of the flower from The Legend yet?
