New poster and grower, hoping for some wisdom

Bit of background:
Outdoor grow (morning sun in the garden then moved to a perspex roof lean-to in the afternoon to catch the last of the sun)
South East UK
In organic compost
1x white widow auto
1x pineapple express auto
First ever grow!

Both plants were started from seeds at the same time and they've been side by side ever since, so had the same amount of water and the same conditions ever since (the Pineapple Express is in a slightly smaller pot, but that's the only difference).

Once they started flowering I noticed the PE getting really stringy, like the buds were forming in sections as the stems carried on growing, rather than the buds forming nice and compact at the end of the stems.

It's otherwise healthy. It smells amazing, is covered in trichomes and will be ready within a week to be harvested.

It's for personal use so I'm not at all fussed about bag appeal and there are a fair few buds that'll look really good in the end, so I'll salvage what I can and use the rest for edibles. But I'm just trying to work out what this is, what I did to contribute to it and how to avoid it next year. The one thing the that sticks out in my mind was when we had that super hot weather, we had a a few days in the 30* range and I was away a few days and left them in direct sunlight for 8 hours of the day. I fed them both once in the veg stage and gave them a bit of mute burn, so never did it again. I top dressed the pots a couple of times with fresh compost, but that's it.

The White Widow is looking glorious, everything looking like it should do, though not as frosty as the the PE.

Thanks in advance guys!

The plant looks reasonably healthy, although maybe hungry - others here may be better for advice on that. In any case, it looks like you have some strange genetics, I don't think the issue is anything you have done, or the growing conditions. Who bred the seed? I will be interested to hear others' takes on this.

@Kimberred168 :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:. That is genetic and nothing you have done. I love to grow mutants because you just never know what you will get. This plant yielded 42+ grams of excellent hashish.

I'm in the UK and I lost a plant to mould also I think as mog said this could be ginetics and maybe there not getting enough sun as that's the problem in the UK and the rain and that's why I grow inside. Hopefully you should get some great smoke off her
