Fook knows to small for me to see get yourself a bag of root riots the way you go through the feckers (seeds that is) [emoji33][emoji23][emoji23] they retain there moisture better [emoji97][emoji97]in the bag this is a root riot after 3 to 4 days in my germing mug I dip the riot cubes in water push in the seed and in the cup lid on check after three to four days they should have popped

Yeeee mate. I’ve always used Root Riots (when I’ve bothered) and never had a problem. The first coco grows on this thread, in air pots were started in them too... no problem.

Aww Wilee.. there’s a very faint funky smell in the res. Probably because of the multi total. It doesn’t reek, just a small stale whiff.

Should I clean it? Just topped it up tho, with..

20L @

1.5ml A&B bloom (per litre)

1.25ml cal

1ml mag

1ml Explode.

Silicone to pH 6.

Ha ha mine has a whiff of bad eggs (pk booster) I only clean mine when the grow is done or it goes really mankey let it empty next time then top up you can clean it if you want me I couldn't be arsed [emoji12][emoji23][emoji23]

That’s the root sponges I’m using. I got them off Keggsie who’s never tried them either. I’m thinking they might be a bit dense for seedlings..

So for the Cheese, my mission tomorrow whilst at work is to buy some actual Root Riots.

Cheers Sanger, I’ll look into that. There’s pipes and shit to think about too.... The auto pot website recommends draining the pipes from time to time as well.
