not a caregiver,just patient cert to grow my own
one of my buddy's was a caregiver, and on the board's of all the local cannabis forum's, in fact back in 2011, he brought me on to afn his name here, is the medicine man, he had great success , with helping his patient's, but even with a full boot of patient's, could not make end's meet,:dunno:because, through no fault of there own, patient's
don't have much money! I almost lost everything whren I had my cancer, and started at the dispensery, could not afford the cannabis:no: so started indoor growing, took me three crop's before I beat anything the dispensery could produce. being on disability, I have zero extra money.
so ... being a caregiver may not make you the money that you think.

My first caregiver, Kirstin's Compassion (now gone..), showed me a lot about the realities of caregiving. For 6-8 months, I was really the only patient of theirs who was paying "full price" for meds, as they had a full compliment of very sick patients, and as you say, they don't have the money for meds at the going price- if at all.. I became close with their grower, who really taught me the basics, and let me tend their plants from time to time. When they moved on, it was a necessary reality that I start growing my own. I went in to Portland's dispensary once.. It was a disappointment. Mostly mids available.. top dollar for 2nd rung meds.. I'll be a gardener, rather than take that option....

Ajoy to have you along, Noods! Thank you for the props Yeah.. I need to keep my grow thinking on autos and photos in separate compartments of the brain.. lolol The take away is... Don't do THAT again.
