Want to start a grow in my large shed that has no extraction point!

Get out drill and drill aload of holes and attach your ducting to it, you can fill it in later or cover it up again when your done
I actually like that idea thanks mate, I think the inner walls are concrete though and on the outside is stone chip.

Or you could put a corrugated roof vent in somewere on the roof, very easy to put in they self seal when screwed together,

2. Get a fan with a dial speed control, or if you can one with programmable controller so that it adjusts itself depending on temp and humidity.

Just using fan speed control requires you to constantly adjust the air flow. I wouldn't consider this method for temp. control as likely to work with an outside, exposed, uninsulated building -- too many daily wide temp. swings. Why not just put the exhaust fan on a cheap thermostat/switch? That way you have real temp. control. I don't see that you need fan control also based on humidity. Of course, this all presumes that the temp. outside the tent is lower than inside.
