So I finally got a hold of some WW, been waiting for evah too see them in stock. Thank you to @Lizardking for pointing out that they were in fact available.:d5:

So I made up a batch of my own soil mix, it contains;

bagged garden soil
coco
worm castings 1-0-0
guano + microbes 7-3-1
garden lime
food grade diatomaceous earth (mainly to kill eggs/larva in the soil)
epsom salts
GBD Super Soil amendment

Basically did a 3 tiered layering of the mix where bottom was at full strength SS, then middle section was 1/2 strength, finally top third no amendment. The very bottom of pot has the Airdome and covered that with perlite. When I filled the top third, I used a TP roll to leave a pocket where I could fill it in with plain seed starter mix.

She was born March 15, this pic is from yesterday or day 1 if you will. Hanging out under 30w COBS in the nursery.

Nice!! Will follow this as I just ordered their 2 autopot system yesterday. It will be my first time , so couple questions if you don’t mind...
1) Do I need an airdome??
And
2) Can I just fill the the pot with one type of soil if I want with no clay pebbles on the bottom?

Thank you

Welcome RicanBlazer, thanks for stopping by.
Airdomes are not necessary, but they really do increase size, yield, and speeds things up a tad. I recommend using them.

I would still use an inch or 2 of perlite or stones on the bottom, keeps the soil out of the flood zone, and will probably help with the wicking process as well.

Good luck with your Autopot run, what medium will you choose?

Got it. Is an airdome the same as an air stone , or 2 diff things?

I will be trying 1 pot with coco loco mixed with the GBD soil, and i just so happen to have some biotabs , so will try that in the other pot. Does it matter to do 2 diff things in each pot?

Airdomes are proprietary for Autopots, an airstone will be better than nothing.

Yeah you can do different things, results may vary. Care to elaborate on your plan?

I am in on this one mate don't see many Walters being grown out even less so these days.

Have already fallen in love with my Walter dom White Crack and have only smoked a 3 week early taken bud so far, but just something about that early buzz and the way the nugs look and smell that say its something a bit special like ;)

Look forward to seeing how this one plays and what you think of her, we all know @archie gemmill loves a bit of Walter and managed to knock him on his ass:crying:

Best of luck not that you gonna need it in your more than capable hands :pass:

Bottom 1-2” clay pebbles, then soil , and from what I read let the leaves grow out of the pot , then turn on the autopots. And I will only put it in un PH water in reservoir. Pots should be in a week or so, I will follow your grow and steal as many ideas as I can , too. I searched a lot on them on here but everybody does it different it seems.
