Worcestershire.

^ there's a word that sounds good in an American accent!

Also, Leicester, Bicester and Towcester.

All places in England.

:crying:

My mates a cabby and he tells a story about picking up an American fare. He was on the m1 half way to Birmingham when he discovered what they'd actually said was 'Buckingham palace' not 'Birmingham please'.

You do realise you just typed 'I like cockwomble'.

Is there another specialist Web site you subscribe to mate?

I checked the pH of the water in the tank (which I've been using) and it came out at 8.2! I dropped it to 6.5, no wonder they're a bit stressed.

So, I pHd the water to 7.0 tonight and I'll edge it down gradually. (Schoolboy error)[emoji849]

No more spotting and no more bugs as yet, fingers crossed.

My tap water comes out at 8.0. If I ph down to 5.8, the next day, it's back up to around 6.8.

I'm from the US, ethnic background is Irish & Welsh, I'm frog-belly white unless I develop a tan then I can get to @witchyhour's "beige". Since skin cancer runs in the family I use sunblock a lot when I go outside but I still get "Farmers Tan".
My background is mostly French and Portuguese, but there's some Dutch mixed in there. And, of course, some Mediterranean Moors that gave me the so-called olive skin (beige). [emoji16]
